Sound is invisible, yet it’s what has the most impact. The bass in your favorite song, the laughter of a friend. It changes how we feel, even if we don’t consciously notice it.
For us, appreciating the understated is not new, and for this and other peculiarities, we’ve always been captivated by sound. We’ve explored every possible way to carry meaning beyond what we hear. From immersive events with experimental artists to speaker collaborations, sound has long been a point of fascination. For Pre-AW26, this fascination became “CYMATICS”, a collection inspired by the visual language of sound itself.
What are cymatics?
It’s how vibrations become visible patterns. Every sound can be broken down into measurable vibrations, known as megahertz, and when these frequencies interact with a receptive medium, they form patterns.
Imagine sand on a flat surface, vibrating with these waves. Shapes come through, and something as intangible as sound gains physical form. Curves, spikes, ripples, each unique to the sound that creates it. These ephemeral shapes became the blueprint for the collection, guiding silhouettes, layers, and textures.
“CYMATICS” explores sound across multiple dimensions: ripples in water, the shockwave of a jet breaking the sound barrier, the pitch of a tuning fork. All became inspiration to turn the perception of sound into something material, something tangible.
In parallel, the collection introduces a new collaboration with CYCORA, the Los Angeles-based material innovator transforming end-of-life textiles into regenerated fibers through advanced molecular regeneration. The partnership expands HELIOT EMIL’s ongoing exploration of material innovation, turning waste into something new. Four exclusive HELIOT EMIL x CYCORA pieces are included in the collection, each an emblem of the interplay between technology and tactility.
TAILORING
VIBRAXIS FLARED TAILORING PANTS
Regular-fit flared tailoring pants featuring a pleated fabric manipulation detail along the side. Designed with a hook-and-eye closure, branded fly zip, jetted back pockets with flaps, and a knee dart for shaped structure. Finished with recycled polyester lining and recycled/organic cotton pocketing.
VIBRAXIS TAILORED BLAZER
A regular-fit tailored blazer with large fabric manipulation details across the back and elbows. Completed with welt pockets, a notch lapel, branded buttons, and recycled polyester lining with recycled/organic cotton pocketing.
VIBRAXIS DRESS SHIRT WITH PLEATED DETAILS
A regular-fit dress shirt featuring pleated detailing along the collar and chest. Finished with branded buttons for a clean, refined construction.
LEATHER
TREMOR LEATHER JACKET
Crafted from 100% lamb leather in a straight fit, this lightweight leather jacket features raw edge seams, a concealed pocket, and adjustable cuffs. A small metal plaque detail sits at the collar, while a branded zip and metal plaque complete the piece.
TREMOR LEATHER TROUSERS
Cut from 100% lamb leather in a regular fit, these five-pocket jeans-style leather trousers combine raw edge finishings with a denim button waistband closure. An adjustable waist with moving flap, G-hooks, and strap detailing refines the silhouette, finished with a branded fly zip and denim button.
HELIOT EMIL X CYCORA
Crafted from 100% regenerated CYCORA® polyester, this lightly padded full-length trench coat features an asymmetrical overlapping closure, hidden press-button hardware, and an adjustable waist for a customized fit. It includes a recycled polyester lining, hidden seam pockets, and branded string pullers, offering a refined and functional approach to contemporary outerwear.
ATONAL FLEECE VEST
A regular-fit hooded fleece vest and jacket, both crafted from pattern-shaved fleece, creating a custom textured surface that adds depth to the silhouette. Designed in a regular fit, the jacket features an adjustable waist, while the hooded vest offers a two-way front zipper for versatility. Each piece is finished with recycled polyester lining, zip-closure pockets, and branded zippers, combining warmth, functionality, and a refined tactile expression
